Celestial Primordials and Incarnates

The True Gods
Primordials
The True Primordials or Elder Gods:
• Primordials, also called Primes or Elder Gods, are beings which embody a single aspect of the Universe and can command all things relative to that aspect. An aspect is any element or influence which results in all conditions relative to their aspect.
• Examples: Primordial of - Life, Death, Love, Hate, Fire, Water, Ice, Light, Time, Shadow, Darkness (The Abyssal Darkness aka Thadius), Compassion, Lust, Despair, Hope, Desire (Memnoch), Creativity, Destruction, Disorder (Primordius), Harmony, Knowledge, Color, Justice, War, Disease, Mysteries, Health, Music, Beauty, Intelligence, Mundanity, etc. MOST of these beings are EXTREMELY ancient as they came into being at or near the beginning of creation.
• New Primordials CAN occur however as NEW ASPECTS develope somewhere in the Universe, such as, Technology and Science albeit such aspects could have occured on one planet many eons before they appeared on another world which may be a much younger planet.
There can be only one True Primordial per Influence at one time.
• Proto Primordials are a rare being of a multifaceted aspect which can occur. Examples: Proto Primordial of - Chaos (Auros aka the Morning Star), The Elements, Emotion, Influence, Creation, Power, Dimension, Connectivity (Junjokitsumi Sudo the Elemandramides), Magic, etc. Primordials of those aspects which fall under a Proto Primordial's sphere of influence still occur, otherwise Chaos would be the only Primordial in existance.
• Embodiments: True Primes are created BY the aspect which came together to form them and by NO OTHER MEANS. They are true embodiments OF their aspect which their sphere of influence created via the forces of chaos, sometimes but not always spontaneously, as a means of interacting with other life forms. Their true form usually reflects their aspect and is suited to the environment and or influences OF their aspect, but they can in time come to reshape themselves into entities that can relate better with the other beings they come in contact with. Other Primes may be able to possess forms, some others still may have no physical forms at all but Ethereal spirit forms. A Primordial's true form can be bizzare in ways that would boggle mortal minds. Or they can be so beautiful as to steal one's breath and senses.
Powers
Powers of the Primordials and Incarnates: These being are intuitive and imaginative (and not for the faint of heart or irresponsible to play). Their power is based on all which comes under the influence of the aspect (or aspects in case of Protos) they can command. Some may record the powers they develope in Tomes or memorize them, while others may simply harness and channel their abilities on the fly and take a much higher chance of their power failing (with chaos roll).
- Tome of Aspect: Level of each power is based on how many times a spell is cast successfully (record powers you devise in a Tome of (aspect) and post into Discord Character Pages or to an easily updated Website and update levels each time cast successfully. Or choose any power from any spell book on Web Site that is related to chosen aspect and record in your tome). Tome powers eliminate chaos roll.
- Litany of Aspect: Like tome, record Memorized powers which are stored in the 'Litany of (Aspect)' in their mind. If however the primordial or incarnate becomes subject to memory loss they have a d10 chaos roll chance of failing on a roll of 1-2 but take no backlash damage. The advantage to Litany over tome is that no one can steal your powers, and prime or incarnate gets a +3 d6 bonus on their power rolls. They also get to cast one preprepared power once each round, preparing the power at beginning of each round.
- Improvised Powers: by improvising a power by calling a target or area of effect, and what kind of damage and or aspect related effects are done, there is a one in ten chance of failure (with d10 chaos roll, 2, fails, and 1 fails with 50% normal backlash damage rounded up). If there is any argument over whether the effects ARE relative to your aspect the GM will call whether the effects are allowable, just try to choose effects that cannot BE disputed.
- Opposing Forces: Each prime can to some extent control the very opposite end of their aspect with careful manipulation. Example: Disorder can pull disorder away to create order. Chaos can pull chaos away to create stagnation. Strife can pull strife away to create well being. Harmony can pull harmony away to create discord, etc.
NOTE: Chaos is the aspect which oversees all other aspects and keeps them in balance through the cycle of chaos (Choose Primordial characters with GM guidance. GM keeps these powerful characters in check through the Prime of Chaos).
Incarnates
The Younger Gods
There are Five key differences between the Elder and younger primal gods.
- One, True Primes are created BY the aspect which came together via the forces of chaos to form them and by NO OTHER MEANS. Incarnates on the other hand were born as something else and then BECAME Incarnates by being so deeply infused by an aspect that they became one with it.
- Two, the younger gods are subject to the elder gods of their aspect, while the elder gods are beholden to NO one BUT Chaos. Chaos answers to no one.
- Three, the younger gods present as the being they were born as or became and do not have a true primordial form. That said, the aspect they command can potentially alter their natural state over time.
- Four, there can be more than just one Incarnate per aspect, although, if too many incarnates of a single aspect occurs in the same world a Primordial of the same aspect might cull one or some of them, not necessarily killing them but eiher that or nullifying their power. A Proto Prime might even alter their power instead to make it distictive to the others.
- Five, and most obvious, the younger gods are not as powerful as the Elder gods and never will be. That does not mean they cannot best them in a contest, it just means it's an uphill battle doing so.
In all other ways the Incarnates are just like the True Primordials. How to Choose Abilities
PowersChoose from any paths or powers that align with chosen aspect's sphere of influence. These can be easy or more complex depending on the Aspect. If in question, ask the GM. Elements are more elemental and straight forward than most States. A Prime of Fire takes fire elements and can influence all things influenced by fire, including fire powered machinery. A primal of say Hate or some other emotion however might take presence so as to affect hatred in others through their own persuasive power. Trick is to choose those abilities and powers that can further one's influence and manipulation over others with the chosen aspect.
Abilties and Skills
Much the same as with power. Choose from Abilities, Skills, Feats and Special Abilities lists those which will aid in commanding a chosen Aspect and from those skills you just wish your Incarnate or Primordial to know to aid in every day life. Take as many as you like and level them as you learn them. Primordials start at a blanket level of 20 in everything unless a newly engendered Primordial. Incarnates start as new characters with blanket level of 6 in everything unless GM approves an older incarnate or a premade character is taken that is higher level.Levels
